Christian Wolf studied Electrical Engineering at the ETH Zurich. He then changed to HSG St. Gallen, where he completed the specialization Information and Technology Management. Afterwards he worked for McKinsey & Company as Project Manager for four years, on national as well as international consulting mandates in various industries. Already in 2001 he founded his first own consultancy. He is Co-Founder of the InnovationsGruppe Liechtenstein AG (private venture capital investment company) and the Business Plan Competition Liechtenstein Rheintal. In the following years he focused on consulting for small and medium-sized enterprises, most recently as Co-Founder and Partner of Alea Partners AG with head offices in Liechtenstein, Switzerland and Austria. Simultaneously he attended the master's program Micro & Nanotechnology at the ETH Zurich, which he successfully completed in 2007. Since 2007 he has been a Swiss Federal Government-Accredited Innosuisse Start-up Coach in part-time. He is co-founder of the Investor Summit Liechtenstein and the Business Angel Club Liechtenstein and is involved in several start-ups. From 2007 to 2013 he was a Member of the Board of Directors at Telecom Liechtenstein AG, since 2011 in the position of the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since 2013 he has been a Partner at BDO (Liechtenstein) AG. Additionally, since early 2017 he has also been the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Liechtenstein Marketing.
Christian Wolf has 20 years of experience in numerous industries like IT, telecommunications, financial and health services as well as in the management of large-scale projects. His specializations are (inter alia) strategy development, business establishing and expanding, corporate financing, succession solutions, restructuring/reorganization, M&A and business valuations. Over the past few years, special emphasis has also been placed on FATCA/AIA, due diligence obligations and the EU Basic Data Protection Regulation.
In 2019 Christian Wolf successfully completed an online certificate course at Oxford University in the field of Blockchain Strategy as well as the certificate course Blockchain and FinTech at the University of Liechtenstein. He is currently involved in various blockchain projects.
