Stefano Frick

Stefano Frick graduated from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) with a Bachelor in Business Administration (B.A. HSG) and a Master in Accounting & Finance (M.A. HSG). During his studies, Stefano Frick gained experience at various Financial Intermediaries in the areas of Fiduciary Services, Asset Management and Fund Administration.

After his studies, Stefano Frick worked at Bank Frick, where he built up and headed the Risk Management Department. As a delegate of Bank Frick, he was also a member of the Liechtenstein Expert Commission on Banking Regulation and Risk Controlling and a member of the Expert Group on Banking Regulation and Reporting.

Afterwards, Stefano Frick worked as CFO/COO and Deputy Managing Director at Bitcoin Suisse (Liechtenstein) AG. There he was responsible for Accounting & Treasury, Risk Management, Legal & Compliance and Operations. He also led the Treasury Stream in the successful implementation of a next generation crypto financial technology platform in collaboration with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS).

He also obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M) in Banking and Financial Markets Law from the University of Liechtenstein in 2020.

Stefano Frick has extensive practical knowledge in the areas of Risk Management, Accounting & Treasury, Financial Market Law and Operations. He is specialised in advising Financial Intermediaries and other legal entities, in particular in the field of Blockchain, on regulatory and financial matters. This includes obtaining licences (banking licence, am-licence, etc.), registrations (e.g. TT-registration) or other authorisations.

Since May 2023, Stefano Frick has been a Senior Manager and Expert for Quality- and Risk Management at BDO (Liechtenstein) AG.
