Thomas Meier

Thomas Meier graduated from the ETH Zurich with a degree in electrical engineering. He then worked in Switzerland for several years in an information security company and for another 5 years in a company for innovative development of technical solutions in various industries. In 2006 he returned to Liechtenstein and worked for 16 years in a Liechtenstein bank in the area of IT and IT security, mainly in the support and further development of the customer portal, including the e-banking services.

Thomas Meier has several years of experience as an application developer, software architect and project manager in the industrial and financial sector, as well as in the implementation of cyber security measures and monitoring of penetration tests. He was also a member and representative of MELANI (Swiss National Cyber Security Center) for several years.

Since 2023 he has been working as IT Manager at BDO (Liechtenstein) AG.
